Mate or even called "mate tea" is not a variety of tea. Although similar in appearance, the two plants are totally different.
The peculiarity of mate is the possibility of brewing it many times (up to a dozen infusions). Healthy and stimulating, rich in nutrients and vitamins, this drink provides a hunger suppressing effect appreciated by people looking to lose weight.

How to use:
You must have additional accessories: a gourd (mate cup) and a bombilla (filter straw).
1- Heat the water, not boiling 70°C - 80°C, too hot use makes the mate very bitter.
2- Pour the mate into the gourd up to two-thirds, put your hand on top and shake everything (mix the leaves + remove the powder from the mate).
3- Pour a little warm water over the mate in order to moisten the leaves, which will keep a concentrated shape over the infusions and not "burn" the leaves
4- Tilt the calabash, place the bombilla in the hollow and sweeten lightly (otera the bitterness of the first infusion)
5- Pour water from the hollow side of the calabash
